Working on 32-count linen, create a wee needle book with companion pin keep, scissors sheath, & scissors fob featuring a Shaker style alphabet, strawberry motifs, birds, bees, & a butterfly.
The finished design size of the book is 10” wide (when opened) x 3” high. The pin keep is 2-1/2” wide x 2-5/8” high. The scissors sheath is 1” wide x 1-3/8” high & the fob is 1” wide x 1-1/8” high.
Colors used are black, greens, reds, brown, blue, & gold. Threads used are overdyed cotton & silk.
Stitches used include Stem, Queen, Smyrna, Double Cross, Four-sided, Satin Cushion, Petit Point, Cross-Stitch over one, Long-Arm Cross, Diagonal Cross, Backstitch, Two-Sided Italian, & Nun’s Stitch.
Scissors are not included.
