Designing With Kumihimo Class by Maggie Thompson

Have you ever wanted to create your own Kumihimo designs? Then this is the class for you! There is nothing to buy - just come to class with the basic equipment and a few supplies and Maggie will help you explore her kumihimo design process as well as components and their uses.

You'll explore some basics such as: 

  • beads/cord/inch
  • cord lengths
  • endcaps & clasps
  • button & loop design

This class will also include a section on embellishments and how to plan for them within your design.

Prerequisite: At least Advanced Beginner Kumi level with a basic knowledge of beadweaving.
