Silken Threads Bracelet by Maggie Thompson

This beginner class is the perfect way to learn the basic 8 cord spiral kumihimo braid. The design combines easy-to-use silk cords and 6° seed beads to create a simple yet elegant piece of jewelry.

The class will be 3 hours with the first 30 minutes devoted to learning the basics of kumihimo braiding. The rest of the time will be spent stringing up the beads, braiding and finishing off the bracelet.

The class price is $45 ($35 kit + $10 class fee). Signup deadline: September 1. Class is limited to 10 students.
