Best of Awards
In addition to the regular Show and Tell on Thursday, we will be having the Best of Awards! Unique, funky, fun prizes will be awarded. Consider creating a piece that will fit in one of the following categories. There’s no limit on how many entries you may have.
Best peacock
Best realistic bird other than a peacock
Best stylized bird
Best interpretation of the POOFFF logo
Most creative POOFFF bird (something other than a realistic bird)
Flight of Folly POOFFF bird (humorous)
Most unusual fiber/materials selection
Stitcher’s Choice – Retreat participants vote for their favorite
The Best of Awards can include but are not limited to any of the following types of stitching: embroidery, quilting, smocking, counted thread, needlepoint, felting, hardanger, beading, tatting, knitting, crocheting, fiber arts, machine embroidery, punch needle, etc.
The Best of Awards is open to everyone attending Retreat regardless of your level of stitching ability. We are hoping to see lots and lots of unique and inspiring creations. Prizes will be awarded Thursday night.
