Handicraft is my
hobby; I shall want no other.
It maketh me to lay down my mop and my broom, walk by my dirty dishes to my hobby room.
It restoreth my peace of mind and leadeth me in strange places, materials to find -
Yes, though I am all alone with needles and yarn, I feel no loneliness. The
swish of scissors and the aroma of glue - they comfort me. I prepare a pattern and
sit and work while my dishpan runneth over.
Surely someday I shall produce a masterpiece.
Then I will dwell in the state of contentment forever.
