Gallery 344 - Italian white work
Gallery 383 - 18th century lace
Near the Bell Court - English embroidery, a beautiful mirror with stump work and a piece from the 19th century  William Morris workshop
On 2nd and 3rd floors - French silks and tapestries
Gallery 203 and outside 351 - Examples of 20th century textiles
Through the America's Galleries (3rd floor) - A Pre-Colombian four cornered hat and other examples from the America's
East Wing Gallery 301 and 302 - Quilts
On the 2nd floor - Textiles from Egypt and Africa, costumes, wall hangings and rugs

The Textile Council Program Series

The Textile Council was formed in 1982 to support and augment the programs of the Department of Textiles at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts.  The council promotes individual and community-wide appreciation of the textile arts and also raises funds to purchase textiles for the museum's collection.  Over the years, the council has sponsored many lectures and seminars on a variety of topics.
